If your story has been through developmental editing (maybe a line edit, too) and it’s where you want it to be, then I’m going to look at your manuscript as a reader, but at the same time, work on it with a critical finish-editor eye.
I want you to know when a sentence makes me stop, when a word is slowing me down, or when something small bumps me out of the story. We’ll deal with anything that comes up without throwing out your writing style. You'll have corrections to review and questions to consider, with the final decisions about your words completely in your control.
